Bowling Master Walkthrough

Bowling Master couldn't possibly be simpler in premise yet it can actually be a bit difficult to get the hang of. The set up is pretty basic. You have a bowling lane with the pins at the end. Your goal is to knock down as many pins as you can. What sets this game apart from most of the other bowling games online is that you don't actually aim the ball. Instead, you have a gage on the right side of the screen that determines the accuracy of your shot. This is what you will use to control your shot. It takes a little getting used to but with patience, even newcomers to online bowling games will be able to master this one.

In truth, Bowling Master isn't a game that you're going to want to play over and over again once you master the skill of the game. What this game offers is a great way to kill a little time without getting you so addicted you're not going to be able to pull yourself away from your computer. More experienced bowling game players or even just online sports game players in general are going to find this one a bit too easy once they get the hang of how the game is played. This is true of newcomers as well, but it might take newcomers a bit longer to pick up the trick. Once you know what you're doing though, it's almost easy to get a strike every time and with the challenge reduced, the game is a lot less entertaining.

In order to get a decent shot in Bowling Master, you need to wait to shoot until the gage on the right side of the screen is in the green zone in the center. Hit it on the completely green tile and you'll get perfect accuracy and a strike to go along with it. The tricky part about this particular bowling game is that the gage only fills up once instead of going all the way to the top and then back down to the bottom. Hitting the green tile is vital and you only get one chance to do it so timing is everything as is paying attention to where the gage is. You need to release the mouse button just before the gage hits the green or it will stop above the green tile. How soon you hit it will be something you figure out as you play but if you hit it too soon, the gage will stop before the green tile. Missing the green tile will severely hurt your accuracy and prevent you from getting that perfect shot.

What really sets Bowling Master apart from many of the other bowling games online is the simplistic approach it takes to the game. You don't need to worry about aiming your shot. You don't need to worry about the spin you put on the ball. You don't even have to worry about how much power you use for your shot. All you need to worry about is stopping at the green tile. That gives the game an interesting and unique feel and also makes it fairly difficult to get the hang of what the game is asking of you. At the same time, having such a simple premise kind of hurts the game in that once you figure out a good strategy, all of the challenge is taken out of the game and it can become a little tedious.

Overall, Bowling Master is a fun bowling game that you'll enjoy playing despite the fact that you probably won't come back over and over again. It can get a bit easy but that's not really a huge disadvantage though. You'll have fun until that point comes and will still be able to play it when you're looking for something lighthearted and entertaining that won't keep you glued to your computer for hours on end. It's a good time waster. The challenge to bowl a perfect game, even if it's not really all that difficult to do so is always fun. The graphics in this game are also a welcome change - much better than many of the other bowling games online. Check this one out if you're looking for something simple, something entertaining and something you won't waste a huge amount of time playing.
